In Folavia, politics are simple, yet very effective. There are only 2 political parties which gives the citizens the opportunity to vote on effective changes within the country. Everyone has something to say and politics are not something they disgust or that fails now and then. It's a way of living, as every citizen strives towards the same goals.

THE HISTORY OF FOLAVIA

Folavia was founded in 1981 by Chemical Engineer and Cryogenic scientist Elisabeth Gorduna and atmospheric scientist Matthew Hemsfield.

They bought Folavia and Alba island in 1980 as part of a scientific program. They built the largest hi-tech company building in the world, HiTech inc.

They wanted their own country to demonstrate that with the current technology we can combat climate warming through high-tech inventions and equipment and especially focus on people, planet, profit.

At the end of 2000, the country has already been fully expanded into a society with 13 million inhabitants. Folavia is known for its future hi-tech knowledge, cryogenics break troughs, rich culture, design buildings, and equipment and especially their eco and environmental mindset. The inhabitants consist of highly educated individuals whom each contribute to society. It is a rich country that always strives for a better future.

WHAT MORE TO KNOW ?

Folavia consists of two islands. Folavia itself is the main island ruled by Queen Elisabeth the first. The second island is Alba Island that is ruled by Mathew Hemsfield. The two islands are divided so that they could lead the country to a better future with the same vision. This has always been successful and led to economic growth, more inhabitants, income, technological advances and breakthroughs in the scientific field.

The capital of folavia is Oliviana, this is the bustling city of the country and also the head of the technological cryogenic developments in the world.

The capital of Alba island is Folkmore. Alba island is also a rich country but in recent years has focused less on technological developments and more on nature itself. They want to invest more in building new nature and biodiversity and less in developing products that limit erosion. They not only want to counteract the damage but also want to rebuild again.

Due to these differences of opinion, a second political party, GoGreen, emerged. Due to these differences of opinion, a second political party, GoGreen, emerged. Each party has its own program. Over the years, the gap between the two parties increased and cooperation became impossible.

***Because of these differences in politics between the two islands, they both want to be independent so they can focus on their future of the country. The people of the country want to remain united because they believe that together they can build an even better future. Therefore there will be a voting on July 5th.***

CRISIS

In recent months, the flow of immigration to Paji Island has continued to increase. The political crisis in Bagheera is beginning to have its effects on the islands of Folavia.

Bagheera's political history continues to repeat itself with military force. Although we do not approve of this suppression and always want to support our neighbors, there is a point where we should say enough.

Since we gave our support to the political refugees in Bagheera in 2018, the flow of immigration has increased by 28%.

Paji Island currently has more Bagheerians than Folavians.

The Bagheerians are warm people and there has always been a peacefull cooperation between Bahgeera and Folavia.

But the current events in the political situations of Bagheera disrupt the daily life of our own people. Due to the increase in population, there is not enough habitable space in the cities of Paji. The people of Bagheera have been living in poverty for a long time and this is now reflecting on our islands, the unemployment rate is rising for the first time since the creation of Folavia and refugees are living in poverty on the street. There are not enough shelters to take care of the refugees and there are also no jobs that they can fill in.

This flood of refugees has a negative influence on our own existence in folavia.

To stand up for ourselves we want, just like the border in the north, also in the south, a strict border control, this can only be done by building a wall.

We made Bagheera responsible for this and that they would finance it. But the military forces refuse to accept their responsibility.

After reaching out to the UBN council, they decided that we should solve this on our own.

Bagheera has not had a prosperous time, but that will change as soon as possible. Now that all corrupt politicians have disappeared, Bagheera wants to rebuild his country. Bagheera plans to spend all his time in the natural gas deposits. With this, the country will soon reach its economic peak.

After a long discussion and several appointments, Folavia and Bagheera came to a solution. As a result, we have decided to close all our borders to the south. Refugees who still enter the country illegally are temporarily taken care of on Fizo Island where camps will be set up. All political refugees will, therefore, be escorted to Fizo Island where they will be provided with a temporary residence. On the other hand, Bagheera has to stand up for all the costs of its citizens. On this subject, it is stated that Folavia is also entitled to a part of the shares of the natural gas desposits.
